On November 4, 2019, COERR Mae Sot conducted a Coaching and Guidance Training for Community Social Workers to support their home visit skill in child protection work, i.e.; how to identify children who are in need of help, ethical issues in child and vulnerable protection, principles of social work, roles of community social workers principles of social work; roles of social workers; skills in home visit; capability in writing genogram/family tree; necessary forms and record, etc. There were 11 community social workers attending this training.
During November 12th -14th, another training was organized to provide further techniques and guidelines in Child Protection and Case Management; Child protection referral system; Need assessment form; Child protection law; Social work skills; Home visit skills: recording, building interpersonal relationship, observing, giving counselling, writing genogram; Case study; Home visit playrole demonstration, etc. This training had 13 community social workers attended.
